When you take the time to talk about substance abuse disorder, you quickly find out that we ALL have “Ties to Recovery.” If you are not suffering from this disease yourself, you have touched the life of someone who has, whether you are aware or not. Many of our fundraisers will display the “Ties to Recovery” logo in order to remind us all that addiction effects all of us in some way or another. We want to rid the stigma surrounding substance use disorder by bringing awareness and encouraging people to talk about it.
